Charleston Homes & Holiday History Tour
It's that time of year...for a different kind of tour! Come stroll the streets of the historic district and see the sights that have made Charleston legendary the world over. On this two-hour guided walking tour tour you will hear the history of the holy city, with a focus on the traditions, lore and culture of the holiday season.
On Christmas Day, 1830 a train from Charleston makes a historic first ride.
Charles Town celebrated a most unusual day of "Thanksgiving in 1706.
Burning candles were often placed on tree branches to illuminate the Christmas Trees.

Charleston Holiday Homes & History Tour departs Wednesday, Thursday,Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 10:00 AM from Washington Square Park, at the corner of Broad and Meeting streets. The tour is approximately two hours long. Tickets are $20.00 for each adult, Children (ages 7-12) are $10.00 and 6 and under are free.
Tour group limits are set by city ordinance. Reservations are required. We recommend booking well in advance to guarantee your spot.
